Terms of Use
These Terms govern your access to and use of Dark Market Watch. By using the service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Dark Market Watch is an independent marketplace-alert tool for Dark and Darker players. It lets users save listing criteria and receive Discord notifications when available market data appears to match those criteria.
The service does not purchase, reserve, transfer, or guarantee any item. You remain responsible for verifying every listing and completing any transaction in the game.
2. Paid Membership, Billing, Cancellation, and Refunds
Market Watcher is US $4.99 per month. It is billed in advance and automatically renews monthly until you cancel. The price, currency, billing interval, renewal terms, and any applicable tax are shown again at checkout before payment is submitted.
You can manage or cancel a paid membership through the Stripe Customer Portal linked from the signed-in dashboard. Cancellation stops the next renewal; paid access continues through the end of the current paid period unless a refund or law requires otherwise. Do not send card numbers or payment credentials to Dark Market Watch support.
We do not provide automatic prorated refunds for unused time after cancellation. You may request a refund for a duplicate charge or a material service failure through [email protected]. We review requests case by case and do not limit rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be limited.
We may change a future price, plan feature, or tax treatment only with advance notice before the affected renewal. If you do not agree, cancel before that renewal.
3. Eligibility and Discord Account
You must meet the minimum age and account requirements imposed by Discord and be legally able to agree to these Terms. You are responsible for your Discord account and for keeping it secure.
You may not impersonate another person, use another person's Discord account without permission, or attempt to access alerts belonging to another user.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- abuse, overload, scrape, probe, disrupt, or interfere with the service;
- attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits, access controls, or security measures;
- use the service for fraud, harassment, unlawful activity, or activity that violates game or platform rules;
- reverse engineer or copy protected portions of the service except where applicable law expressly permits it;
- resell, sublicense, or expose any private API credential or backend access used by Dark Market Watch;
- submit malicious code, automated spam, or intentionally deceptive alert data.
5. Third-Party Services and Data
Dark Market Watch depends on third-party services, including Discord and marketplace-data providers. Their services, rules, data, and availability are outside our control. Your use of those third-party services remains subject to their own terms and policies.
Market data may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, changed, or removed. Dark Market Watch does not grant you ownership of third-party game data, artwork, names, trademarks, or API content.
6. Alerts Are Not Guaranteed
We do not guarantee that:
- every matching listing will be detected;
- alerts will be immediate, uninterrupted, accurate, or delivered before an item sells;
- the service will always be available;
- third-party data will remain available or compatible;
- a notification means an item is still purchasable.
7. Changes, Suspension, and Termination
We may modify, pause, limit, or discontinue any part of the service. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, infrastructure, third-party services, or compliance with these Terms.
You may stop using the service at any time. You may delete individual alerts from the dashboard and request broader data deletion through support.
8. Intellectual Property
Dark Market Watch's original code, branding, page design, and service features are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Dark and Darker content belongs to its respective owners. Discord and DarkerDB content and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dark Market Watch and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost items, opportunities, profits, data, or goodwill; missed or delayed alerts; account actions by third parties; or reliance on marketplace data.
Where liability cannot be excluded, total liability arising from the service will not exceed US $25 unless applicable law requires a different result.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the service changes. The updated date will appear above. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
